This art project is based on trees we commonly see in Pennsylvania.

We will meet and work at the Governor Dick Environmental Center for the first class. We will start with a bark print from a tree at Governor Dick Park and collect, leaf, seed, and bud or twig. You will press those things into separate clay tiles. Then, you will make line drawings of the tree’s botanical name and its flower. You will join the tiles to form a circle.

A week later, after the tiles have been fired in the kiln, we will meet at krb ceramics studio to glaze the tiles. After the tiles have been glaze fired they will be mounted on a wood board ready for hanging. All work will be returned to you within 2 weeks.

$95 for TWO, 3-hour classes.
